Do we sell your information?
No. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we never have.
Do we share it for advertising purposes?
Yes, in a limited way. This site uses an advertising/retargeting pixel and analytics tools to understand site traffic and measure whether our marketing is working. Under California law, this counts as "sharing" your information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. You have the right to opt out of this.
How to opt out
Option 1 — Global Privacy Control (recommended)
If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it automatically as an opt-out of the sharing described above. No account or form needed — just browse with GPC enabled.
Option 2 — Contact us directly
Email chris_j@ouraffinity.com with the subject line "Privacy Opt-Out Request," or call (408) 687-6109, and we'll process your request and confirm once it's complete.

What about sensitive personal information?
We collect limited personal information through our contact forms (name, email, phone, and loan-related details you choose to share) and, if you proceed to a loan application, financial information handled through Affinity Mortgage's secure loan platform. We do not use this information for advertising purposes, and you have the right to request that we limit its use — contact us using the details above.
This doesn't affect your ability to work with us
Opting out of advertising sharing has no effect on your ability to browse the site, use the calculators, contact Chris, or apply for a loan. We don't charge different prices or provide different service levels based on whether you exercise these rights.
